IBMA’s Gig Fair, a rare meet-and-greet opportunity in the midst of a hectic and fast-paced music industry event, serves as an organized information exchange for emerging artists and event producers. We envision the Gig Fair as a first step in building business relationships. It has become one of the most popular industry events at IBMA World of Bluegrass!
How It Works
- Each talent buyer will have a station at the Gig Fair with a set number of meeting slots to speak with artists in a speed-dating format.
- Each artist may sign up for these short meeting slots with talent buyers. Artists may not sign up for more than one meeting with a single talent buyer.
- All time slots are first come, first served; however, Official Showcase Artists are given a priority access period.
- Each artist is encouraged to bring business cards, one-sheets, and other promotional materials for their act. Artists may bring complete promo kits to give to talent buyers upon request.
How to Register
You must be registered for the IBMA Business Conference to attend the Gig Fair.
Talent Buyers: 2023 RSVP information will be available closer to the event!
Artists: Register for the IBMA Business Conference, then you will receive a link to sign up for time slots with specific talent buyers.
