2024 APPLICATIONS CLOSED
The IBMA Songwriter Showcase is a coveted opportunity to shine the spotlight on ten standout original songs during IBMA World of Bluegrass. Selected writers will perform one original song each for an audience of some of the best bluegrass artists and producers in the industry. The IBMA Songwriter Showcase will take place during the IBMA Business Conference, September 24 – 26, 2024 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Application Process
Up to 10 songwriters (or songwriting teams) will be invited to showcase. Songs are chosen through a juried selection process that takes into consideration the applicant’s quality of work and appeal to bluegrass audiences. The applicant does NOT have to be an IBMA member, but they MUST be willing to perform the song live. In addition to general information, the following materials will be needed to complete the application:
- Name, email, hi-res photo (at least 150 dpi), and bio of each songwriter credited on the song
- One demo recording of the song (mp3 format only)
- Lyrics for the song (PDF only)

Application Fees
There is no application fee. However, if selected, applicant is required to register for the IBMA Business Conference in order to participate.
